On the up and up

20130902-204541.jpg

Jonty is feeling a little better this evening, and is feeling a more normal temperature. He has chased the cats a little (which always seems to lift his spirits), wiggled his little tail wag and had some dinner.

Jonty has a habit of scarfing down his food and getting a terrible case of the hiccups. He even gives you a wounded look if you giggle at his digestive plight! A little belly rub tends to help them pass. Such a cutie x

Surgery rescheduled for Thursday, all being well.

I’m glad to hear you are feeling better, Jonty! Nothing a little cat chase can’t cure 😉

You’re going to do great as a tripawd – you won’t miss that extra leg one bit!

You’re adorable. Looking forward to hearing more about your journey.

I’m glad he’s better! One way to slow down his eating is to put something large and obtrusive in his bowl. Something that he has to work around and push out of the way. Something like: an upturned ramekin, or coffee mug, or measuring cup, a HUGE rock. I’ve seen this trick work for other “snarfers”. Just make sure you select something that is IMPOSSIBLE for him to get into his mouth.

Glad to hear good news. We will be thinking good thoughts on Thursday.

They actually make dishes with bumps on the bottom also.

    Take care.

    What. A. Face!

Jonty, how big are you? I’d love to see what you look like in proportion to something else. I mean you have this sweet Shepherd face but you look like an adorable Pocket Shepherd. Can we see a pic of you next to something else that we can measure? I’m just really curious.

Good luck this week with the surgery!
